Yes, I am Licensed Massage Therapist licensed through TDLR (Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation) and insured through ABMP (Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals)

Do you offer any discounts?

If you schedule an additional future Session on or before the same day as a currently scheduled Chair Massage Session, there will be a 15% discount on the future Session. A future Session must be at least 7 days after the currently scheduled Session.

There is also a 15% discount for First Responders.

What can I expect during the chair massage?

There will be a short consultation prior to the massage to discuss any areas of focus needed and what to expect during the massage. No contact will be made with any private areas or the abdomen.

Each massage will be customized to the individual using a fully adjustable Massage Chair. You will stay fully clothed, and there will be no lotions or oils used. The massage techniques that will be utilized are compression, petrissage (kneading), vibration, tapotement (percussion), and light stretching. Relaxing meditation music will be provided.

The appointment will end with a percussion massage to help revitalize you to take on the rest of the day.

Are there any medical or physical reasons I should not get a massage?

If you can easily complete normal day to day tasks and activities, you are able to receive a massage. And you can receive a massage as often as you like. However, if you have any uncontrolled or unmanaged medical conditions or have any injuries or conditions that prevent you from normal physical activity, you cannot receive a massage.

Any clients that are pregnant, undergoing Oncology treatment, or under the influence of muscle relaxers will not be able to receive a massage.

Will I be fully clothed?

Yes. No adjustments or removal to clothing is needed. No lotions or oils will be used. It is preferred to remove any jewelry.

What areas will be massaged?

The only areas that will be massaged are the parts you requested as the areas of focus and muscles related to those areas. No private areas or abdominal areas will be touched. You can also request to avoid any areas of your body based on your personal preference.

What is the difference between a Session and an Appointment?

A Session describes how long I will be on site, performing all individual appointments. An Appointment describes each 5-20 minute appointment time for each person receiving a massage.

What is the Cancellation Policy?

The 15 Minute Introductory Massage is free and will not result in any fees or charges in the case of cancellation. It is still requested that a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is given to cancel the free Introductory Massage.

Below outlines the Cancellation Policy for a scheduled Chair Massage Session:

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel a Session is required. In the case of a Cancellation, the 20% deposit will not be refunded.

If the Client cancels a Session with less than 24 hours’ notice, they will be charged 30% of the total price of the scheduled session from the credit card on file.

If the Client cancels a Session less than an hour prior to the start of the Session, they will be charged for the full remaining balance of the scheduled Session from the credit card on file.

It is understood that emergencies and illnesses can arise, therefore last-minute cancellations due to things such as verifiable emergencies, illnesses or inclement weather will generally not result in any missed session charges, however this is to be determined at the Massage Therapist’s discretion.
